One of the Newport International Boat Show’s signature traditions, Newport for New Products (NFNP) showcases the newest boats and marine products making their U.S. debut.
As you explore the show, look for the official NFNP decals and burgees identifying eligible entries throughout the docks. Winners will be announced following the awards ceremony on Friday, September 18.
DOCKING WORKSHOP
Build Confidence at the Helm
Take your docking skills to the next level during this hands-on Docking Workshop.
Designed for both sail and power boaters, this interactive workshop covers close-quarters maneuvering, wind and current, line handling, crew communication, and other practical techniques to help you dock with confidence.
The workshop takes place Thursday, September 17, costs $99 per person, and includes Thursday admission to the show. Space is limited, so advance registration is strongly recommended.
ON-WATER TRAINING WITH BOATCLASS
Gain Confidence on the Water
Whether you’re new to boating or looking to sharpen your skills, BoatClass powered by Freedom Boat Club offers 90-minute, captain-led training sessions right on the water.
Participants learn practical boating techniques in a hands-on environment, making this one of the most popular educational experiences at the show.
Advance registration is recommended. Sessions are $199 per person and include admission to the Newport International Boat Show.
TECH TALKS PRESENTED BY IYRS
Hands-On Technical Training
Visit IYRS School of Technology & Trades during the Newport International Boat Show for a series of engaging Tech Talks designed to build valuable skills you can apply on your own boat.
Choose from practical courses covering topics like Multi-Meters & Electrical Troubleshooting, Cable Sizing & Crimping, and Gel Coat Repair.
Registration is recommended. Each Teck Talk session is $125 and includes admission to the show.
CRUISERS CLASSROOM
Learn from the Experts
Presented by the Annapolis School of Seamanship, the Cruisers Classroom offers four days of complimentary educational seminars for boaters of every experience level.
Sessions cover a wide range of topics including navigation, weather, marine systems, maintenance, safety, offshore cruising, docking, and more - all led by experienced industry professionals.
Located Below Deck at the Hammetts Hotel entrance, seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is included with show admission.
FISHING VILLAGE
New for 2026!
Cast into a brand-new experience at this year's show! The Fishing Village presented by Tashmoo Boatworks brings together leading fishing brands, hands-on demonstrations, expert-led educational sessions, and a 50-foot Casting Pond for anglers of every experience level.
From fly casting clinics and fishing seminars to the latest tackle, marine electronics, and gear, the Fishing Village offers something for seasoned anglers, weekend fishermen, and families alike.
BROKERAGE BOATS

In addition to the latest new models on display, the Newport International Boat Show also features an impressive collection of brokerage boats.
Located in the Brokerage Basin north of Bannister’s Wharf and along the Perry Mill South Docks, these displays feature a wide variety of sail and power boats, including yachts up to 100 ft.

Sunday is Community Day, a special event inviting children and their families to join us at the show.
