Newport for New Products
Being the first major show of the Fall boat show season, manufacturers have long made Newport the place to launch their new boats and boating products. Together with Cruising World, Sailing World and MotorBoating magazines, the Show recognizes boats in divisions Under 30’ and 30’ and Over, as well as products used for boat operation or for boating safety… before the event in a special magazine insert, during the Show with special identification and activities, and gives awards for “Best New Powerboat”, “Best New Sailboat” and “Best New Boating Product”. If you’re debuting a new boat or boating product, debut it in Newport!
THERE'S STILL TIME TO ENTER YOUR BOAT OR BOATING PRODUCT!
The deadlines for insert in Cruising World, Sailing World and MotorBoating magazines -- and even for the Show Program -- have passed but you have till September 10 to enter your new sail or power boat or your new boating product that’s for navigation, operation or safety in the Newport For New Products program!
Any accepted entry will be listed in the Addendum to the Show Program and we’ll put balloons on any boat or product that are accepted. Attendees will see that you have something new to show them! Plus, your boats and products will be included in the judging on Thursday and eligible to be named Best New Sailboat, Best New Powerboat or Best New Boating Product! And, in that case, there’s more publicity that will follow you after the Newport Show.
We’ll also be including all Nominees names and photos on the Show website staring on September 13, the week of the Show when the sites gets thousands of hits.
Go to the Contract link in the Exhibitor section of this website and click on NFNP. Fill out the application and get it back to us ASAP. Or call one of the NIBS staff to help you out.
