GENERAL PUBLIC INVITED TO ATTEND EXHIBITOR PARTY TO SUPPORT IYRS

Once again, the Newport International Boat Show has selected the International Yacht Restoration School as its nonprofit beneficiary. IYRS is a world-class accredited school training the next generation of marine trades professionals and leaders. But for many passionate and would-be professionals, the cost of their schooling is beyond their reach. You can help by supporting the scholarship fund with a cash gift or an in-kind donation of equipment, tools, or supplies. A contribution of any amount is welcome.

Show your support by attending the Newport International Boat Show Exhibitor Party on Friday evening from 6 – 8 pm at Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina and please make a donation. The general public is welcome to attend. Tickets are $50.00 at the reception table. (cash or check) Supporting the Joyce Selig Memorial Scholarship Fund ensures that the most passionate and talented future craftsmen and technicians can pursue careers in the marine trades.

Over 850 manufacturers, reps and dealers - both domestic and international - will be showcasing and selling their products and services at the 39th Annual Newport International Boat Show. Many new models will be unveiled for the first time to the public. Come see, feel and test the merchandise and talk to those who designed and built it. You may need more than one day to do it!

Boating has never been more exciting; whether it's an evening harbor cruise, a fun-filled day of fishing or an extended cruise on a yacht with all the luxuries you can imagine. Come discover the many new products, programs and opportunities for the whole family!

We encourage you to contact our exhibitors in advance and let them know you are coming to the show and are interested in their product. Our exhibitor list includes emails and websites. The Show Directory, handed out at the show, will also contain phone numbers and websites.

Newport County Resident's and Military Day
Friday, September 18, 2009.  Admission is half price. Children under 12 are free. Must show proof of residency with driver's license or other picture ID, and/or military ID.

Due to Health and Safety Regulations
No Pets, except service dogs, are allowed on any Boat Show Sites (this includes small pets that fit in a carry bag). Baby strollers are prohibited on the docks. Please plan accordingly.
